We Have Come to Camp
Away through the hills we go
When we will arrive, we do not know
But what we know is that we can’t wait to see
The friends at camp that are waiting for me
Because we are going to camp.
We fly, we drive, we can’t wait to arrive
For we head to the place where we feel truly alive
And while the trip may put a lot on our plate
We feel ourselves grow into our happiest state
Because we are going to camp
As we step back into this place
A smile springs to our face
For we have finally escaped from the daily grind and
With friends and family we sit down to a feast
Content in the fact that we are finally at peace
Because we have come to camp
