Camp AmeriKids needs help in getting all our supplies ready for camp! Each year Camp AmeriKids rents the Clearpool Education Center campgrounds to operate its summer camp program. As we prepare for the season, we need assistance in the warehouse to organize and inventory all our supplies. We have supplies that return each year, and we need to combine these items with our newly purchased and donated items. They must then be sorted and organized by area or projected for easy loading and unloading. The supplies are later placed onto the camp truck and transported to camp.

After camp, a similar inventory and repacking must take place. We need assistance sorting camp supplies, taking inventory and organizing next years supply needs and wish list.

Camp Set up

Once the camp truck arrives on grounds, it is time to unload and get the campsite prepped. We seek assistance in setting up camp to be ready for 120 campers and 90 staff. Each activity area needs to receive its supplies and all cabins must be outfitted with their required necessities! This is a day for getting the place camped out!

Host a Holiday Gift Drive

October-December 1

During the holiday season Camp AmeriKids hosts an annual Holiday Reunion Celebration! It is a great day for all the kids, their families and the camp staff to be reunited in an afternoon of entertainment and treats. At the conclusion of the event, each child is sent home with a brand new holiday gift.

Each season we seek assistance from individuals and corporations to host gift drives to provide each camper with a brand new gift for the holidays. Your help would make a world of difference for these children during the holidays.

Gift Wrapping Event

First week of December

In preparation for the annual Holiday Celebration, each year we seek volunteer groups to assist in wrapping and organizing the children's gifts for the event. These events are coordinated for the first week in December.

Camp Holiday Celebration

Second Saturday in December

Each year at the holiday event, Camp AmeriKids seeks energetic volunteers to help with set up, serving food, and distributing gifts. It is a great afternoon to meet the children and share in the holiday season.
