Craig Altman, LMSW, School Social Worker, Newburgh New York School District
Craig Altman began volunteering with Camp AmeriKids in 2003.  Craig works as a School Social Worker for the Newburgh City School District.   He has worked for more than 12 years in children’s mental health services, including Astor Home for Children and Rockland Children’s Psychiatric Hospital.  

Robert B. Bristow, M.D., Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine
Robert Bristow, the Camp Medical Director, began volunteering with Camp AmeriKids in 1995.  He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia, College of Physicians and Surgeons.  Robert is working as Co-Director of the Disaster Preparedness Committee at the New York Presbyterian Hospital as well as working on a Disaster Plan for the Lifeline Express Hospital Train, Impact India Foundation in Mumbai, India. He received his SC-MD from the Medical University of South Carolina.

Peter Wagoner Greenwald, MD, Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine
Peter Greenwald has been a volunteer camp physician at Camp AmeriKids since 2005.  He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia, College of Physicians and Surgeons and is the Assistant Attending in Emergency Medicine at the New York Presbyterian Hospital.   Previously, he worked as the Attending Physician at North Adams Regional Hospital in Massachusetts. Peter is attending Columbia University/Mailman School of Public Health where he will receive his Masters in the Clinical Science Program.

Elizabeth K. Hall, MSN, RN, CFNP/CGNP
Ms. Hall is Director, Family Nurse Practitoner Program with Columbia University School of Nursing. In partnership with Camp Columbia NP Students receive clinical credit for their participation in Camp AmeriKids program.

Steve Kidd, MFA, Assistant Professor of Theater, Brown University
Steve Kidd is the Camp AmeriKids Program Director and has been involved with camp since 1998.  Steve is an actor, director and assistant professor of theater at Brown University in Providence.  He has worked as an actor and a director in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Boston and London. Steve holds a B.A. from Colby College in Waterville, ME where he double-majored in Performing Arts and English, and an M.A. in Theater Studies from Brown University. 

Justine Landegger, Grants Design, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, IRC
Justine Landegger has been volunteering with Camp AmeriKids since 1999.  Justine currently works in Pakistan for the IRC as a Grants Design, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist based in Peshawar and the earthquake region. Justine has worked for the international relief and development organization World Vision in Washington, DC, Child Survival Consortium Group, CORE, and briefly interned with the AmeriCares Foundation in International Programs. She graduated from Georgetown University in 2004 with a degree in Global Health and Development and a MA certificate in Refugee Studies and Humanitarian Affairs. 

William Last, Jr. Marshfield, Real Estate Developer
A volunteer with Camp AmeriKids since 1996, Mr. Last is a real estate developer, and is now Director of Operations at the camp.

Susan Ledlie, PhD, RN, CPNP, Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing, Columbia University School of Nursing
Susan Ledlie has been affiliated with Camp AmeriKids since 1997.  Susan is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing at the Columbia School of Nursing in New York. Susan has been treating HIV positive youths for the past 15 years, beginning her career as the director of the Pediatric/Maternal HIV Services in the NYSDOH AIDS Institute designated AIDS Center at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY.  Susan received her AAS from The Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania.

Toni A. Nagel-Smith, ACSW, Social Worker, Fox Lane High School
Toni A. Nagel-Smith is the Camp Wellness Director and has been with Camp AmeriKids since 2005.  Toni is a School Social Worker at Fox Lane High School.  Previously, she worked as a Social Worker at Pediatric Project, Bellevue Hospital, Manhattan, NYC and as an Adjunct Professor, Westchester Community College, Valhalla, NY. Toni received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Muhlenberg College and her Masters in Social Work at Adelphi University Graduate School of Social Work.

Stephen W. Nicholas, M.D., Director of Pediatrics, Harlem Hospital Center
Dr. Nicholas is Director, Columbia Universtiy International family AIDS Program, as well as Director of Pediatrics, Harlem Hospital Center, and Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University.

Lisa Perry, LCSW, Senior Case Manager at Plainfield High School
Lisa Perry is a Senior Case Manager at Plainfield High School. Previously, she worked at the Francois-Xavier Bagnoud Center where she provided support, case management, and other social service assistance to approximately 100 HIV infected children and their families. Lisa’s background was in psychiatric emergency services. Lisa has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She earned her Master's of Social Work from Rutgers’s University in New Jersey.

Kathleen S. Reilly, President, Consultative Resources Corporation
Kathleen Reilly has been volunteering with Camp AmeriKids since 1999.  Kathleen founded Consultative Resources Corporation in 1981; she has led CRC in developing a number of training programs in sales and relationship development.  Prior to this she was a consultant and trainer with Synetics, Inc., a Cambridge Massachusetts firm specializing in creative problem solving and innovation. She earned her degree from Manhattanville College; she is also a graduate of the prestigious Aspen Institute’s Executive Program.
